5 Daily Devotionals by E-mail

by

quiet1.gifFinding time for prayer and devotion can be difficult while working, chasing kids, cleaning house, washing clothes, cooking, and doing the hundreds of other tasks a woman does in a day. But without daily prayer and devotion, those tasks are made that much harder because we lack the spiritual uplifting and guidance in our lives. Luckily, many websites offer free daily or weekly devotionals you can receive by e-mail.

Listed below are 5 devotional sites I have come across, including one for chronic illness and pain sufferers, that will help you fit prayer and the Word of God into your day between making breakfast before work and potty training your toddler.

Christian Women Today: Subscription page for devotionals and newsletters.

“Me” Skills: The common Denominator in your life is You.

Encouraging.com: Devotions by Baptist women.

Rest Ministries: Daily devotionals for those living with chronic illness or pain.

Coffee Stains: Spiritual growth stimulator that tries to create laughter and thought. (For men and women)

Great collection of links. I just wanted to let you know that there is a website I write for called Two Handles that also does several devotionals a week. You can visit it here: http://www.twohandles.com. It has a wider audience than just Christian women, but anyone can certainly benefit.

About Life as a Christian Woman

Life as a Christian Woman explores Biblical truths as they apply to modern faith and the vital roles we can play in the body of Christ. Some topics are easy, such as Christ died for our sins. Others, like divorce, single parenthood, work, and submission to our spouses are more challenging. Then there are days we just need a good laugh with God. Together, we can learn practical faith in an impractical world.
