LCW Honored with “You Lift Me Up” Award

by

award.jpgI was surprised to see that Good Christian Life passed along the You Lift Me Up Award to Life as a Christian Woman this weekend. I put a lot of time and effort into trying to provide relavant, honest, and Biblical material here. It is nice to know that someone is reading it and gaining something from it.

I had toyed with the idea of writing a Christian blog for many months but had not a clue where to start. I had never blogged before, and although I had written plenty of online material, it was never for any site that I had to have technical knowledge. Then I saw the job posting for 451 Press and applied. They handle the technical side and all I do is write. It has opened up a whole new world for me as I interact with my readers, research material, and pray daily for God’s guidance in what Christian women are searching for.

The blogger who nominated me at Good Christian Life is a new Christian. She writes about her experiences as she embraces Jesus and tries to learn how to live for and through him. Please visit her often and support her, pray with her and for her as she starts her journey with a brand new heart.

Part of the You Lift Me Up Award is that I now nominate three other blogs for the honor. Exposure to new writers and solid Christian advice is always a good thing, so please visit these three sites that have been an inspiration to me. You will see that I read many different aspects of the Christian faith, and always try to encourage my readers to explore the beliefs of other churches. Take some time to visit these workers for Christ and lift them up as they have done for me.

About Life as a Christian Woman

Life as a Christian Woman explores Biblical truths as they apply to modern faith and the vital roles we can play in the body of Christ. Some topics are easy, such as Christ died for our sins. Others, like divorce, single parenthood, work, and submission to our spouses are more challenging. Then there are days we just need a good laugh with God. Together, we can learn practical faith in an impractical world.
