Senior Pastor Brian S. Lewis of All Nations Church in Los Angeles rebuked Juanita Bynum in a sermon on national television.
“Juanita Bynum, you don’t like what you went through? You don’t like being stomped in the groin? You don’t like being beat by a man, why don’t you just sow a seed?” he asked. “You know why God is judging you because you can’t sow a seed to get out of your problems”

It looks like this Pastor is just begging for money. It’s interesting that he totally forgot to use this scripture -
1 Peter 3:7
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

I don ‘t know Pastor Lewis, but he ’s got his theology mixed up and he is trying to emotionally backmail people into sowing seed. God doesn ‘t not use evil means to acomplish His purposes.

There is no way anyof us can know what God is doing in the hearts of his people. The word tells us “touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm.” God has always used many people in bible to turn the hearts of man back to the Father. As christians I caution us not to speak on this situation unless God reveals his mind to you for the body. It is not about us! Stick to the script, and stay focused on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and let God be God over their lives. “This too shall pass”!

In response to Amrita, I disagree that Pastor Lewis is trying to emotionally blackmail his audience. His goal appears to rather use the “sow a seed” tactic as sarcasm for what he alleges Prophetess, Bynum, her husband and Paula White use to get others( viewers in TV land)to solve their problems. His tactic is however poor and would have served a better purpose kept to himself. Only God knows the story behind why these things have some to light. Rest assured this is only the beginning of what God is trying to bring his people back to. Prayer should be our focus with regards to all this foolishness anyway. Let us be mindful to pray, as all hidden things will soon be revealed.

I listened to the You Tube message, and I reached the same conclusion as “Aim High” who said:

I don’t believe he was rebuking Ms. Bynum (she certainly does not need to be rebuked for being assaulted) so much as he was using the situation as an example in order to rebuke a tactic of soliciting donations used by televangelists. Unfortunately these types of comments can, all too easily, be misunderstood and misquoted.
I also want to add that I am incensed that the media referred to the assault on Juanita Bynum by her husband as a “fight.” That was a cheap shot.

Well, I don’t have a problem with the pastor telling juainta to sold a seed. Because that is the first thing that they tell us. If you want to get out of your problem is to sold a seed. That is why I believe you need to be careful what you preach and say. Because God is recording every thing that we do. I don’t have a problem with telvision preachers but everyone of them are going to ask for some money after the end of the program. God is tied of the games that are being played. He is going to clean up the church. So please keep it real.

I do hope it was sarcasm only because I am so fed up of TV evangelists using all kinds of tactics to get money from people.I’ ve stopped watching some of them because I know how they will end.I ‘ve fallen in the trap too and my poor widowed Mom.But now I use discretion.India is an economically backward country and such things hurt people.

I DONOT BELIEVE GOD IS BRINGING JUDGEMENT ON JUANITA BYNUM.GOD IS UNCOVERING THE MEN WHO PREACH TO PEOPLE WEEK AFTER WEEK AND GO HOME AND BEAT THEIR WIVES.THEY PREACH THE WORD, BUT DONOT LIVE THE WORD.PASTORS AS WELL AS LAYMAN MUST START LIVING WHAT THEY PREACH.THEN SOME ARE LIVING WHAT THEY PREACH,BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT PREACHING THE TRUE GOSPEL.THEY PREACH FROM THEIR ON SPIRIT

This pastor is very immature. As christians, our job is to pray for our leaders, and even if they slip and make a mistake in the public eye, we have to pray God’s mercy upon them. I say to Brian Lewis, GOD IS LISTENING, AND HE SEES YOUR ARROGANCE AND IMMATURITY. I pray that you don’t fall and you don’t make any mistakes, because it might be greater than what these two women are facing. TAKE A LOOK AT MICAH 6 and then humble yourself before God, and then HE will exalt you in due time.

I noticed that people who promote gossip and state their opinions openly about other people are gossiped about negatively and openly.
You can’t find open gossip on a person who keeps their opinions about others private. Take it to the Lord in prayer. He who WINS souls is wise!

Many have rushed to judgement about this situation and none of us knows what happen that day or any other day. There are two sides to every story. I do believe when all is said and done it will not be what we think it is.

It’s time that a man of God got fired up for the kingdom of God. This pastor isn’t lying when he says” TBN has raised up more, players, prostitutes and posers”. TBN was a true vehicle for the kingdom of the Lord, but something went wrong, when men and woman of God tell you that if you sow a seed in an approximate amount of money for a period of time and God will deliver you out of your troubles, they are lying to you. The Lord says that he is our strong tower and the righteous run in and we are safe, the word also declares that he that dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. Most problems come into our lives because of our “FLESH” we need to pray more, fast more and stay in the word of God so we can beware of the wicked ways of the enemy and stand. Money is a vehicle to get the gospel out; money pays your bills, being a good steward over the money God blesses you with is important. The father wants us to prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper. Money can buy crack just like it can feed the hunger, let us not get everything so twisted people. I believe that Mr. and Mrs. Weeks should have resolved their martial matters in private so that rebuke, concern and the devil of all “The Media” wouldn’t have to be involved, they should have taken the matter to the throne or Grace in a time of need and then a decision of whether to part or get help could have been made. Everything is glamorized, polished and airbrushed. There will come a time when the people won’t listen to sound doctrine but have itchy ears…….who are you in Christ and in the kingdom? Pastor you are a refreshing voice in wilderness. Preach on brother.

Sister and brothers,
I feel your hearts, and I know that your faith has been challenged, but that is what the bible said, “ having done all stand…..”
Yes! We have to stand because our faith is not in the wisdom of men, sentiments or the craftiness of the evil one. Yes! The enemy would always try to attack all of our kingdoms institutions, e.g. marriage, leadership, our lives, etc But we are victors on every side because we know his age long tactics of striking the shepherd in order to scatter the sheep. The issue is not what the evil one did or is doing but our response to him.
Paula & Randy, Juanita & Weeks are our family. Yes! We are one great and big family and right now they need our love and support and not our sermons and condemnation. You and I know that living the life of faith is challenging enough, talk less of living at the eyes of the public. You see brothers and sisters, love conquers all things even this one.
I sincerely believe that we have an opportunity here to validate to the world and ourselves - whose (who) we really are. We are daughters & sons of Love and we know how to protect and nurture our own. If you are around them show them 1 Corinthians 13, because love is our nature and it is time to act it out. If you are by the media please focus on strength of the word of God – focus on the persons and not their wrong actions or mistakes - the persons involved are anointed women and men of God – FAMILY FIRST!
We know that they have the Holy Spirit in them and he would lead them to all truth. Remember fruits or acts or love is for the matured and the strong, and if you must judge please give righteous judgment.
Let us stay on our faith, each one practicing “excellence in expression” the word of faith in every area (marriage, leadership, living, etc) because we would be rewarded for how we dealt and made profit with the word of life.

I believe that no one in this world is perfect we are all going through the potters hands for perfection and we all in one way or the other go through tough times and it so happens that this was simply a test that Pastor Juanita had to go through, but I believe it is not where we come from that matters it is where we are all headed. So pastor the bible says in Romans8:18(for I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us) Gal! I can’t wait to see the anointing on you after this rough path.

Pastor,
Judge not that you be not judged. Just because She has not sowed into your ministry does not mean that she has not sowed.
With thesame measure we mete that is thesame that we will get in return. These are the last days, a lot is happening.
If we need to correct, paul admonished that we do that in LOVE not SARCARSM.
