Prayer Requests: Infant Andrew, Miners, and Peru

by April Gilford

Today’s prayer list begins with a very special little boy named Andrew. A fellow writer here at 451 Press asked for prayers yesterday when an emergency C-section had to be performed on her sister-in-law. Medical complications forced doctors to deliver little Andrew prematurely at just 24 weeks. He is in NICU and has a long hard road ahead of him. Please visit Debbie at About Arlington, Texas to read her post and offer your support.

You have probably seen on the news that tragedy has struck the Utah mines once again. Siesmic activity caused a second cave-in, killing three rescuers and injuring others who were trying to reach the previously trapped miners. I can’t imagine the emotional turmoil the families and co-workers must be feeling. The underground rescue attempt was halted indefinitely until a determination can be made if further clearing can be done safely. It must seem a hopeless situation to many right now, and I pray that God can find some way to bring comfort to those families who have suffered so much.

In other news, the country of Peru has been devastated by a deadly earthquake. At least 510 people were killed in the magnitude 8 quake, with the hope of finding survivors in the rubble diminishing each day. Please pray for the victims and for the rescuers as they attempt to gain control of this tragedy and offer aid where it is need. Recovery and rebuilding will be a long process. Pray for God’s healing and strength for Peru.

Please, keep NEBOJSA and ME in continued, strong, fervent prayers for:
    - DIVINE INTERVENTION FOR OUR COMPLETE RECONCILIATION ASAP
    - THAT GOD SOMEHOW WORKS OUT NEW BEGINNING FOR US, OPEN AND FORM LINES OF GOOD COMMUNICATION BETWEEN US, PEACE AND PROTECTION OF OUR RELATIONSHIP, LOVE AND FUTURE
    - THAT GOD FORGIVES US MISTAKES WE MADE TO EACH OTHER AND THAT BOTH OF US FORGIVE EACH OTHER FOREVER
    - THAT GOD DIRECT NEBOJSA BEHAVING TOWARD REPENTANCE, SHAKE, CHANGE AND DISCIPLINE HIM, AWAKE HIS CONSCIENCE, THAT NEBOJSA BECOME CONSCIOUS OF BAD THINGS HE DID TO ME UNDESERVEDLY AND MAKE STEPS TOWARD ME (CALL, ME APPOLOGIZE, APPROACH)
    - THAT GOD DO THAT NEBOJSA DOES NOT GET INVOLVED INTO ANY NEW RELATIONSHIP, BUT THAT GOD PUT US BACK TOGETHER AND LET US BE HAPPY AGAIN
    - THAT GOD KEEP EVIL INFLUENCES AND ENVY AND JEALOUS OPINIONS FROM US AND HELP NEBOJSA TO MAKE DISTANCE FROM PEOPLE WHO ENJOY IN GOSSIPING OTHERS, CRITICISM, SELFSHNESS, DESTROYING RELATIONSHIPS (THAT GOES SPECIALLY FOR BRENA, ZORA, DEJAN, ANA, DANIELA, RALE, ACA, NADA, JELENA, IVANA, VOJA).

Thank you very much for all your prayers. Praying for you.
    May God bless you always.
O, GOD BE NOT FAR FROM ME,
O, LORD MAKE HASTE TO HELP ME.

    Katarina from Belgrade

  4. Marina Says:

PLEASE, PRAY FOR KATARINA AND HER NEBOJSA, their COMPLETE RECONCILIATION, conversation, agreement about THEIR FUTURE AND MARRIAGE –That they continue that conversation AND BRING IT TO FULFILLING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - Prayer can influence and FORMING THINGS –That God work on him to understand THAT FEELINGS ARE NOT TO RUN FROM THEM, but built a future and life -AND PUT HIS EFFORT AND STRENGTH IN THAT - he said, and knows what he promised - so that they continue those conversations - and for marriage to happen during the year –Thank you in her name

Me, Marina, I am a Christian, and a girl in a ministry.. I had one love - I RUN, WASN’T READY FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT (after so much loneliness, today would behave differently) - HE COULD APPEAR TOMORROW, FREE - AND I HAVE GOD’S PROMISES - See other God’s answers - but do not know WILL GOD SEND HIM, MY J.BOND, or should I go and built relationship, AND BRING SOMEONE TO THE LORD, or GOD WILL BRING SINGLE AND COMPLETE PERSON, FORMED, GIFTED, etc. Understand my thoughts ?

And time is just passing… PLEASE, SUPPORT ME ALSO IN PRAYER FOR GOD’S PLAN, PROTECTION, LEADING, BLESSINGS,

LOVE AND MARRIAGE — And I thank you in advance

    Sister from Belgrade, Marina

About Life as a Christian Woman

Life as a Christian Woman explores Biblical truths as they apply to modern faith and the vital roles we can play in the body of Christ. Some topics are easy, such as Christ died for our sins. Others, like divorce, single parenthood, work, and submission to our spouses are more challenging. Then there are days we just need a good laugh with God. Together, we can learn practical faith in an impractical world.
